CONCEPT
Interconnection
Family, religion, and oral traditions are an important part of the Hmong culture. These influences have helped form how the Hmong home and family have functioned since their immigration to the United States. Traditions among cultures are routed in the connections made with one another. Homes and personal spaces are a reflection of their owner. The connections between people and their space are an important part of one’s identity. Through these connections comfort is found, and homes are made.
